Edison Chen, the male lead in the celebrity sex pictures scandal, has announced that he will leave Hong Kong’s entertainment industry forever, after he has completed all his responsibilities.
Upon his return to Hong Kong, the actor-singer held a press conference to address the latest issues, which attracted herds of paparazzi. Edison expressed that the photos that have been circulating the internet were taken by him but firmly stated that the photos were personal and that the person/people, who released them online, obtained them illegally.
Edison acknowledged the females involved and their families and apologised for their pain and suffering. He also expressed his regret for the negative impact this issue has had on the Hong Kong society.
Edison made clear that he will be quitting the industry forever when he fulfils all his commitments. During this time, he will immerse himself with charity work in hope that the general public will forgive him.

for being a brave and strong woman during this bad time!!!
frankly speaking, for a single yet rising idol, she's more brave than a guy because at least she's willing to meet the ruthless media and apologize. despite many will be disappointed over the pics, but still she should deserve our support rather than criticism!!! at least she rose to the idol status, not only with a pretty face, but rather on her singing and acting skills. she may not sing or act as well as others but she still did her best in everything she do. im sure everyone saw her dilligence before. people, please dun just judge the person by a bad scandal n condemn her forever... from an outsider view, we may say whatever we want cuz tat person is not us!! obviously we will nt give a damn over it bt imagine if you are gill, please try to understand her perspective too!!! everyone have their own reason behind their actions... it's only whether they want to say anot...

EDC APOLOGIZE!!!!
Through a short clip sent to his lawyer, EDC was dressed in a simple shirt apologizing to those females celebrities that got affected in this scandal. He sincerely hope that people will stop downloading the pictures and stop forwarding to others, in fear of hurting those females celebrities involved. He felt very remorseful throughout this incident.....
